Church Services

Church services are now both in-person and online: If you can’t join us at the church or would prefer to listen online, you can join us by Zoom for audio-only. Please contact our clerk at [email protected] for information.

Sunday Church Service: 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Christian Science churches have no clergy.  Mary Baker Eddy ordained the Bible and her book, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures as the pastor of all Christian Science churches—a pastor available day or night to comfort, teach, and guide.

Our Sunday services are conducted by two “Readers” elected by the membership—one reading from the Bible and the other reading corresponding and explanatory passages from Science and Health.  Each week there is a new subject for the Lesson-Sermon, covering topics such as the nature of God and man, what is truly real and what is not, and the life and teachings of Jesus.  This same “Lesson-Sermon” is read at Sunday Christian Science services throughout the world.  Sunday services also include silent prayer and the Lord’s Prayer, a musical solo, and three hymns sung by the entire congregation.

Sunday School (for young people up to age 20): 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Sunday School is discussion-based in similar-aged groups.  Students learn to know and love the Bible—its stories and teachings—and  also learn Christian Science concepts through the writings of Mary Baker Eddy.  They discuss with peers and teachers how to put these lessons and concepts into practice—in short, how to apply the laws of God to bring healing to every aspect of their lives and their world.  All young people are welcome to join our Sunday School!

Wednesday Evening Meetings: 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

These inspiring mid-week meetings, conducted by one of the Readers, consist partly of readings from The Bible and Science and Health, similar to the Sunday Service. These readings, however, are unique to our church, selected by the Reader to address the current needs of the congregation, our community, and/or the world. After the readings and hymn singing, individuals in the congregation have the opportunity to share gratitude and inspiration from their study, and how they have applied Christian Science in their own lives and seen healing results—not only physical healings but also healings regarding employment, relationships, finances, addictions, finding purpose and guidance, mental illness, and other challenges.  Come and share how God is working in your life!

Child Care: During Sunday and Wednesday Church Services

We have a children’s room where infants and young children are lovingly cared for while their parents attend Sunday or Wednesday services.

Christian Science Practitioners

Christian Science practitioners are experienced Christian healers who work full time healing others through prayer.  They are happy to chat with you over phone or email, or visit with you at their office.  Spiritual healing, since it is based in the power of a God who is everywhere, is not limited by location.  Many people have had healing help from a practitioner on the other side of the globe.  Others like to work with a practitioner right in their town.  To find out more about Christian Science practitioners and see a listing of practitioners all over the world, go to
